Born in Indianapolis and raised in the heart of rural Tennessee, Elizabeth grew up surrounded by porch talks, rolling hills, and the kind of silences that spark imagination. Her writing draws on that sense of place—infused with grit, grace, and the complexities of everyday life.

After earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University, Elizabeth spent over a decade in healthcare administration, where she witnessed both the fragility and resilience of the human spirit. That experience continues to shape the way she approaches storytelling—with empathy, nuance, and an unwavering interest in the personal truths that define us.

Today, she writes full-time, crafting fiction and essays that explore themes of identity, family, memory, and change. Her voice is rooted in the Southern tradition but speaks to universal experiences—always with an eye for detail and a heart for characters who feel deeply real.

When she’s not writing, you can find Elizabeth reading on the porch, getting lost in small towns, curating far too many notebooks, or enjoying a long walk with a good playlist.
